We are committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding all children at St. Michael's Junior Church School and expect everyone to share this commitment.
The Designated Safeguarding Leader (DSL) is Clare Greene, and the Deputy DSL is Andrea Smith. Our Safeguarding Governor is Andrea Phillips.
In line with our safeguarding policy and statutory guidance, we have clear procedures in school for responding to any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
At St. Michael’s, the health and safety of all children is of paramount importance. Our most important job is to keep them safe. Parents send their children to school each day with the expectation that school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. St Michael’s, therefore, has to ensure that this expectation becomes reality.
We use an electronic system called CPOMS to record any concerns.
If you are concerned about a child's welfare or worried they are being abused, please contact one of the safeguarding team in school by emailing: email@example.com
